SEMINAR  ABSTRACT

MIND SHIFTING TAKING ACTION: Moving beyond the ‘new normal’ into integrated digital learning paradigms.

A vertical change curve, imposed on the world by a pandemic, combined with the already known opportunities of the fourth industrial revolution [4IR] and the transformational nature of frontier technology is inherently creating an urgency in the conversation of escalating change.  Educators and education have been forced to recognise we are at an exciting and unprecedented inflection point. We have the ability to fundamentally mind shift and establish a ‘moonrise’ global andragogical learning ecosystem and digital communities where no one is left behind if intentionality to deploy change is embraced, capitalised, invested in, and acted on – now! This requires delivery of key new and innovative foundational ‘building blocks’ to ensure future resilience and to ensure sufficient agility to at least keep pace with change. However,  talking is cheap and has continued for far too long. Taking action, founded in neoteric thinking is necessary to maximise beneficiation for education, business and all global citizens. This plan requires and includes actual investment, deployment & adoption of technology, business plans and education programme beta tests.
