Hana Hailu is 23 years old change activist, motivational speaker, writer, and trainer. Hana completed her secondary school in Bishoftu where she was enrolled in a special high achievers’ class and is currently attending her education at Hawasa university. Hana has been actively engaged with her community at a very early age. For example, she started volunteering at the age of 14 in community and student-based organizations such as Right to play, Regional Children Parliament and art clubs. Furthermore, she has immense experience working with children, the youth and in general with people from all walks of life. Hana is passionate in helping her community with the best of her abilities by creating platforms for youth empowerment, mentorship, and personal development programs. She is also fearless to knock on doors of personal development experts to expand her horizon for self-improvement opportunities. In addition, Hana is outspoken for what she believes and always work toward expanding her social circle. She utilizes social media to send motivational and positive messages to those who are in her sphere of communication. She had around 30,000 youth audience in 2012 in several universities, public stages, and schools. Hana has her own YouTube videos,100 members that she mentors in her ልባም coaching program and is currently working on her first book. She organizes different events including fund raising, work as a freelancer for Rise Up non-governmental organization (NGO), is a board member of two NGOs, and an ambassador of Debre Tabor university. Hana is a well-known person on social media especially through her motivational and positive messages that inspire the youth to find positive meanings in their lives. Hana aspires to become an influential author & motivational speaker and is doing exactly that now. Hana strongly believes that her immense experience working with children and the youth will enable her to be an engine of positive change in lives of others and uses her training/mentorship programs to empower the youth to become self-sufficient. The achievements she has been able to attain not only shows her resilience and determination in situations where opportunities are limited, but also testify her abilities to make a difference in less privileged communities.
