Geez is the language of the ancients, the instrument of communication, commerce, fine arts , history, music ans science.,  the language prayer  for the fathers, keeper of the history of religion,. A movement to register Geez as Unesco Heritage is underway. Global Geez Society is taking shape. This conference solicits contribution from experts, practiotioners, users, and educators  to document  Geez and the development geez.
